Sprays usually  are not necessary until rows are within 6 inches of touching. Each location has two advisories, depending on row development:

use row index = 2 for rows within 6 inches of touching
use row index = 3 for rows touching

Fields that have a history of Sclerotinia blight should be scouted within the next week.Conditions will be very favorable for Sclerotinia blight over the next several days. Start scouting if you have received rain.

Peanut Leaf Spot Advisories for July 10

In well-rotated fields, the first fungicide spray should be applied at the very early pod stage (R3) regardless of advisory.  You may wait 2 additional weeks (R3 + 2 weeks) before beginning sprays on the cultivar Bailey. After the first spray, apply fungicides according to the leaf spot advisory.

Peanut Sclerotinia Advisories for July 9

This is the year's first Sclerotinia advisory. Use the advisory to time fungicide sprays in fields with a history of Sclerotinia blight. Fields with no known Sclerotinia blight should be scouted periodically to be sure the disease is not present.

In general, sprays are not necessary until rows are within 6 inches of touching. Each location has two advisories, depending on row development:

use row index = 2 for rows within 6 inches of touching
use row index = 3 for rows touching

Fields that have a history of Sclerotinia blight should be scouted within the next week.If the current forecasts for cooler, rainy weather hold, conditions will be very favorable for Sclerotinia blight. Start scouting as soon as you receive rain.

Peanut Leaf Spot Advisories for July 3

In well-rotated fields, the first fungicide spray should be applied at the very early pod stage (R3).  You may wait 2 additional weeks (R3 + 2 weeks) before beginning sprays on the cultivar Bailey. After the first spray, apply fungicides according to the leaf spot advisory.

Peanut Leaf Spot Advisories for July 2

Hello everyone,

This is the year's first leaf spot advisory. Detailed information about how to interpret the advisory information below is attached. In well-rotated fields, the first fungicide spray should be applied at the very early pod stage (R3).  Peanut development images are attached.  You may wait 2 additional weeks (R3 + 2 weeks) before beginning sprays on the cultivar Bailey. After the first spray, apply fungicides according to the leaf spot advisory.
