[peanutadvisory] Peanut Leaf Spot Advisories - last advisory of season

Today's advisory emails will be the last for this season.

Leaf spot fungicides are effective for 14 days, which is also the PHI
for most fungicides. No further applications will be needed for growers
who plan to dig in the next two weeks. For those who plan to delay
digging, cool (below 60 F) nights typical for this time of year should
drastically slow leaf spot increase and spread so that no further sprays
are needed.

Recent dry weather has somewhat slowed the risk of Sclerotinia blight,
but any rain will increase the risk again. Typically, however, we see
little benefit from Sclerotinia sprays made this late in the season,
even though the disease can increase rapidly at this time. It is too
late to apply Omega unless you plan a very late harvest due to its PHI
of 30 days.

We will be running disease advisory programs in-house for a few more
weeks and can provide updated advisories on request. Please don't
hesitate to ask questions about your specific situation.

If you have comments or suggestions about disease advisories, please
give me a call or email.

Thanks for your interest in peanut disease advisories. See you next summer!
