Risk of Sclerotinia blight currently is very low due to high temperatures and low rainfall. Lower temperatures and rain are forecast for the middle of next week, when conditions may become favorable for Sclerotinia blight. Careful scouting should begin now.
Information about Sclerotinia blight advisories is attached.
Peanut disease advisories are calculated and disseminated in collaboration with the NC State Department of Entomology Plant Pathology and the State Climate Office of North Carolina and with support from the North Carolina Agricultural Research Service.
