Last advisories of the season

Today's leaf spot and Sclerotinia advisories will be the last of the season. In most cases, it is unlikely that additional leaf spot sprays will be beneficial, even for peanuts that will be harvested late.

Conditions remain favorable for Sclerotinia blight and disease can appear alarming at this time of year. However, peanuts usually do not benefit from sprays to control late season onset of Sclerotinia blight, particularly on Bailey II. PHI for Omega is 30 days.

Please contact me if you have questions about disease control in late harvested peanuts.

Best wishes for a successful and safe harvest.
